Dr. Michael Civin has plenty of education to point to in his background. For example, he graduated Harvard in 1968 with a Bachelor’s degree, cum laude before attending Albert Einstein College of Medicine from 1968-69. Soon after, he obtained the first of two Master of Arts degree in 1970 from the University of Oregon and in 1986, he earned his second M.A., in Clinical Psychology from the Gordon F. Derner Institute of Advanced Psychological Studies at Adelphi University. He also earned his Ph.D. from Adelphi in 1988.

Though he has been practicing as a psychologist in New York City for the better part of three decades, in reality, Dr. Michael A. Civin has never stopped pursuing an education in psychology. He still studies his craft, even as he is training the next generation and Currently, Dr. Michael Civin works as a clinical psychologist. More specifically, he is now a senior psychologist at a practice he co-founded in 2008, Rose Hill Psychological Services in the Bronx. He also operates a private practice in other parts of New York City, including Manhattan, Astoria, and Bayville, since 2007. Overall, Dr. Civin has been practicing medicine for more than 28 years.

His current private practice features Michael Civin, Ph.D. working in the field of psychodiagnostics, the branch of psychology that evaluates human behavior through the use of many tests. He also practices adult and adolescent psychology, as well as supervision and group psychology. In order for his medical career to succeed, Dr. Civin had to gain a lot of education. He started with an A.B. degree cum laude from Harvard in 1968 and he went to the Albert Einstein College of Medicine in 1968 and 1969.
